Visited for their Christmas fair. Have always loved the setting when going with family to the park but was nice to go for something else. The only small feedback I would give is the market got really busy, at times you couldn't move as too many people trying to get in and out. Maybe a one way system around the stalls would help keep things going. Other than that, we had a great time.

Xmas fayre had some great local traders, was extremely busy this year and I think they underestimated the turn out so was a little shoulder yo shoulder but never easy yo predict numbers. As an overall visit location it's lovely with some great walks you be had and the castle tour is very good if you have never been.

Big, high quality play park with picnic tables, stunning surroundings, the castle of course, and wide paths going high above the small river there, and down along and over the river.

Stunning wee part of the world. Well worth a day out enjoying the estate. It's a very well maintained relic of how the high and mighty lived while most of Scotland didn't have shoes on their feet but marvellous to see.

Really nice place to visit even when the Castle is Closed. We visited on a closed day and did the Blue Walking route with the Dog. Really lovely relaxing walk and I have to say the best way marked route I have ever walked. Most marked routes are absolutely useless but these routes are very well marked and mapped out. Toilets are clean and there is a nice cafe and shop. We brought some plants. We will come back and have a look around the castle one day. Well worth a visit.

This is an amazing space for families to have fun. The gardens are spectacular and the play area is fun. There are mountain biking and cycling paths plus walking routes for those who prefer to walk. There is a cafe and small businesses on the property as well. This is really a beautiful place in Scotland!
